Description
        The 2016 census reported that roughly 53 million people in the United States speak Spanish, and of those, roughly 16.2 million individuals report limited English proficiency.These patients, those with limited-English proficiency, are among the highest risk for medical errors due to an inability to communicate past medical history and current problems to providers. This course will provide easy to use vocabulary and terminology allowing therapists to complete a basic therapy evaluation and basic therapy treatments using Spanish.

          Andrew Morgan, PT, DPT, MBA, COS-C is a Doctor of Physical 
 Therapy with over 18 years of clinical experience. Andrew has worked 
 with patients in all clinical settings, but the majority of his experience is in 
 the home health setting. Andrew is currently the Director of Therapy 
 Service and Alternate Administrator with a 6-location home health 
 company based in San Antonio, TX. Andrew is an energetic and 
 interactive speaker who is constantly reviewing and refining best practice 
 guidelines as current research dictates.
 
 He earned his Master and Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University 
 of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Andrew is a member of 
 the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Texas Physical 
 Therapy Association, as well as the home health section. He enjoys 
 cooking and triathlons.
